Anita’s moving testimony of being raised in a family with two handicapped brothers and an almost fatal struggle with anorexia has resulted in a dynamic speaking, music, and drama ministry that has taken her all across the country. God is using Anita’s vibrant personality, her God-given talent, and her utter devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ mightily for His glory!
She gave her first concert in 1984. In less than one year, she had performed over 250 concerts, recorded her first album and published her first song. In 1986, she was selected by the Billy Graham Association to participate in The International Conference for Itinerant Evangelists held in Amsterdam, Holland. In that same year, she was also selected as One of the Most Outstanding Young Women in America. She has been featured on the Pensacola ACTS Network and has recorded four albums.
Most of Anita’s time and energies have now shifted to her husband, Carl, and her two young daughters. In addition to home schooling, Anita and Carl labor together discipling young parents who share their burden to return to Biblical principles as the basis of their parenting. They serve together as Area Coordinators for Growing Families International.
Whether Anita is at home training her children or speaking to thousands of women at a conference, it is Anita’s overwhelming desire to know God’s Word and to challenge others to know Him and be established in His ways. Anita realizes the awesome power of God’s Word through the ministries of teaching, music and drama. How powerful it is when it is anointed by the Holy Spirit to correct, encourage, exhort and draw others to a deeper, more intimate walk with God!
